LIVERMORE, Calif- Sonoma State finished Tuesday's third round exactly where they started in, in fourth place, at the Third Annual NDNU Invitational at Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore.
Jarin Todd rebounded from his second round 78 with a 72, one of the better scores on the day, to lead the Seawolves with a fifth place overall finish.
The Seawolves shot a collective 300 on Tuesday to end the event at 299-297-300--896. They finish in a fourth place tie with Holy Names and Cal State Stanislaus. Chico State was the runaway winner, capturing the event with a 296-287-297--880, 14 strokes ahead of second place Cal State Monterey Bay.
Following Todd's fifth place finish at 71-78-72--221, the Seawolves stacked two more golfers in the top eleven.
Patrick Bauer carded a 74-73-75--222 to finish ninth and
Tyler Schmuckle was 11th at 76-71-76--223.
Rounding out the Seawolves' unit were
Janssen Todd (78-75-80--233) and Aaron Briones (81-80-77--238).
Sonoma State returns to action next weekend at the Otter Invitational in Seaside.
