LINCOLN, Neb-
Jarin Todd cruised to a three-stroke victory on Tuesday at the NCAA West /Central Regional Championship at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a team, the Seawolves finished second, earning their third consecutive trip to the NCAA National Championship.
The Seawolves entered Wednesday's action with a nine-stroke lead, but they shot a 297- twelve strokes higher than the 285 they carded on Tuesday. Colorado-Colorado Springs took the team title, scoring a 284 on Wednesday and finishing the tournament at 863- three strokes better than Sonoma.
The Seawolves finished tied for second with Cal State Stanislaus in the field of 20.
Todd finished at 66-67-75--208, five stokes below par and four strokes ahead of the second place finisher.
Patrick Bauer placed fourth at 73-67-72--212.
Janssen Todd was 23rd at 72-75-75-222 and
Ryan Carter took 55th at 73-82-75--230.
Tyler Schmuckle carded a 86-76-84--246.
Next up is the National Championship Tournament, to be played May 19th through 22nd at Loomis Trails Country Club in Blaine, Washington. The Seawolves played a course preview event at the course in September, finishing second in a field of 20.
