ROHNERT PARK, Calif- Once again, Sonoma State played host to a top ranked, big name school. Unfortunately for the Seawolves, 16th-ranked Indiana proved to be too much as the Hoosiers rode out a 9-4 victory over Sonoma State. Despite 28 shot attempts from the Seawolves, points came at a premium as Sonoma State falls to 2-15 on the season with 14 losses at the hands of ranked opposition. The Hoosiers improve to 12-5 overall.
Indiana jumped out to an early 3-0 1st quarter lead that they would never relinquish.
Kelsey Lowy put the Seawolves on the board in the 2nd quarter before the Hoosiers added two more goals to take a 5-1 halftime lead. In the second half, Indiana rode out a relentless Seawolf attack thanks to the crafty play of goalie Cassie Wyckoff.

Sonoma State will head down to Los Angeles to participate in the Loyola Marymount Tournament, opening competition on Friday against Chapman. First sprint is scheduled for 9:15 am.
