BOX SCORE #16 Sonoma State 3, Cal State Dominguez Hills 0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-11) -- Box Score

CARSON, Calif. --
Kelsey Hull slammed 13 kills to the floor, sporting a fiery .435 hitting percentage and Madelyn Densberger connected on 11 of her 15 attack attempts for a .667 average in a convincing three-set sweep for 16th-ranked Sonoma State over host Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday night at the Torodome in Carson.  As a team, the Seawolves (9-2, 2-1 CCAA) hit above .300 for the second straight match (.352) while holding the Toros (7-4, 0-3 CCAA) to a miniscule .079 clip.

Sonoma State only trailed early in the first two sets before making big runs to take the 2-0 match lead.  There was no doubt about set number three as the Seawolves allowed a season-low 11 points in a set for the second time this year.

Hull had 13 kills with three errors in 23 swings, followed by the 11 kill, one error, 15 attempt effort by Densberger.  Caylie Seitz added eight kills, erring just once in 18 swings to contribute to the overpowering Seawolf offense.  Rachel Andrews was in on seven blocks, Nicole Gragnola led all players with 12 digs and Devin Shaver had four service aces and a team-high 26 assists.  As a team, Sonoma State aced 11 serves, the most since Oct. 26 of last year.

Alijah Gunsaulus led Cal State Dominguez Hills with 11 kills and a .409 hitting percentage; she was one of only two Toros with a hitting percentage above .000 (six CSUDH players hit in zero or negative figures).  Gunsaulus also recorded a team-high seven digs.

Sonoma State will play at Cal State L.A. in a special 1:00 pm matinee on Saturday at the Eagles Nest before returning home next Friday to begin a five-match homestand.
