DAVIS, Calif. -- The Sonoma State women's water polo team finished off the regular season on Saturday with a 10-1 loss to the UC Davis Aggies at Schaal Aquatics Center in Davis. The loss leaves the Seawolves at 8-18 overall heading into next weekend's Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
The Aggies scored four in the first and three in the second to take a 7-0 lead at the halftime intermission. They'd build their lead to eight before Sonoma scored its only goal of the game on a penalty shot by
Kennedy Fald.
Andrea Mallul was credited with ten saves in the defeat.
