SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The Sonoma State women's water polo team went 1-3 at the Santa Clara Invitational this weekend in Santa Clara, earning the lone victory over Redlands on Saturday, a 14-3 triumph that put the Seawolves in the win column for the first time this season. The three losses came against No. 16 Indiana (16-2) on Saturday, No. 10 UC Davis (22-2) and Santa Clara (9-3) both on Sunday.

Taylor Brooks led the offense with five goals while
Taylor Brown added four goals and two assists. Brown also had five steals, three field blocks and three drawn exclusions.
Amanda Weddle and
Cassidy Mundt also chipped in with four goals this weekend.
The Seawolves (1-8) will head south to Claremont next weekend to compete in the Convergence Tournament Friday and Saturday.
