2018 California Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball All-Conference Team

Zach Guardino earned Honorable Mentions. This marks each player's first All-Conference accolade.
Outfielder
Bryce Nagata completes his senior season with career bests in all batting categories. The 5-foot-9 senior out of Kaneohe, Hawaii batted .375/.437/.551 acting as a sparkplug from the top of the lineup all year. His batting average marked the CCAA's third highest and ranked seventh and fourth in conference in hits and stolen bases, respectively. While Nagata proved an on-base machine and a threat on the base paths, he also showed exceptional pop throughout the season. The Santa Rosa JC transfer smashed seven homers on the season, tied for the team-best.
Shortstop
Rayson Romero also helped the Seawolf top of the order in 2018, placing Top 5 on the team in average, runs, hits, doubles, home runs, total bases, and steals, while leading the team in walks. Romero batted a career best .270/.394/.394 with 27 runs scored and 18 RBI on the season.
Junior
Zach Guardino broke out in his first season with the Seawolves after transferring in from Diablo Valley College. The 5-foot-10 outfielder batted .336/.405/.441 on the season while leading the team in doubles (12) and marking second best on the team in RBI (24), home runs (6), hits (48). He started in 35 of his 43 games played and collected 143 at bats this season.
Sonoma State finished the 2018 season with a record of 26-24 overall, marking the 26
th time in the last 32 seasons that SSU has boasted a winning record. The Seawolves ended the year with a 22-22 conference record, finishing seventh in the CCAA and missing the conference tournament by a single game.
