FINAL RESULTS
DURANGO, Colo -- The Sonoma State women's golf team saw their 2017-18 season come to an end Wednesday after finishing 12th at the 2018 NCAA Division II Super Region 4 Tournament at HIllcrest Golf Club in Durango, Colo.
Jasmine Monas was the top Seawolf finisher this week, placing 30th with a 54-hole score of 234 (+18) following a final round 74, matching her season's-best total in a round.
Julia Peters scored a 79 on Wednesday, which tied her for 52nd with a three-day score of 244 (+28). A final round 78 for
Cristina Picariello tied her for 56th overall with a overall tally of 246 (+30).
Lexi Nielsen tied for 62nd after shooting an 87 Wednesday for a final score of 250 (+34).
Sabrina Virtusio ended the week in 66th place, shooting an even-par 72 in her final round of the year.
As a team, the Seawolves carded a 955, checking in three shots back of 11th place St. Edward's. Dallas Baptist (901; +37) took home the regional title with a six-shot victory over runner-up West Texas A&M (907; +43). California Baptist will also advance to the national tournament with a third-place finish, scoring a 909 (+45).
