AMARILLO, TEXAS.- Sonoma State Women's Golf spent the past few days in Texas competing in the NCAA West Regional Tournament. The Seawolves had multiple contributors ranging from experienced upperclassmen to freshmen with bright futures.
Avery Foster was able to secure a top 15 individual after three rounds of golf. Over the course of 54 holes of golf Foster managed eight birdies highlighted by shooting one under-par on the second day of the tournament.
The top individual day for the Seawolves came courtesy of CCAA Elite 13 award winner Talia Gutman. Gutman's day two performance led to a three under-par showing thanks to six birdies, four of which came on the back nine.
Alongside Gutman, freshman Rilee Crosby had a strong second day of play as she managed to shoot on-par for the 18 holes. She played her best golf on the back nine with shooting on or under-par for eight of the nine holes.
The Seawolves wrap up the year with five top five finishes across 12 tournament appearances. On top of this Avery Foster had an outstanding season winning two tournaments as an individual and securing CCAA All-Conference honors as well!
