Meet The Seawolf: Taylor Towne XC/T&F

Rohnert Park, Calif. - In this week's Meet the Seawolf, the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics communications team sits down with senior distance runner Taylor Towne. Towne joined the Sonoma State University cross country and track & field program in the fall of 2016 as a distance runner. She made her collegiate debut at the Notre Dame de Namur Invitational where she ran in the 5000 meters and finished with a time of 23:50. Before the cancellation of the 2020 spring season, Towne helped the Seawolves track & field team to a dual meet victory over East Bay, 56-20. Town would place third in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:24.52 and she would also be a part of the first place team in the 4x400 meters with a time of 4:42.17.
