ROHNERT PARK, CALIF. - Sonoma State's 
Jen Trephan was named the CCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 16-22. She became the first student-athlete in the history of the conference to earn Offensive, Defensive, and Setter of the Week honors in her career. 
For the week, Trephan totaled 39 digs and six blocks to help Sonoma State earn a road split, which included a victory over No. 20 Cal Poly Pomona. She added 18 kills, 58 assists and two aces. 
In a five-set match against Cal State San Marcos, the senior from Thousand Oaks had a double-double with 16 digs and 28 assists. In another match that went the distance, she had 23 digs and five blocks, including a solo, in the upset win over Cal Poly Pomona. She finished one kill short of a triple-double for the second consecutive match, hitting .269 in the process. 
Trephan ranks fifth in the CCAA in aces (0.41 aces/set) and eighth in assists (5.61).

Trephan earned her Offensive Player of the Week award last year (Sept. 26-Oct. 2) and was named the Setter of the Week earlier this season (Sept. 11-17).
