BERKELEY, CALIF.- Sonoma State Track and Field, coming off a great outing at the Gaucho Relays last week, once again made a strong impression at the 2025 Cal Opener hosted by the Cal Berkeley Bears.
Paving the way for the Seawolves was an extremely strong showing from the team's throwers. The Seawolves dominated across a variety of events. In the discus the team locked down three of the top four finishes. Ariyah Ford was outstanding posting a 40.52 meter throw that was over five meters ahead of the second place finisher.
