Day Two in Innsbruck, Austria:
We had breakfast at our hotel. [Head Coach] Bear [Grassl] explained that there are about three food groups in each meal so far which is bread, cheese, and meat. Everyone in Europe drinks a ton of coffee, and it comes with almost every meal. After our breakfast, we got ready to walk around Innsbruck for two hours. The town was so clean, everyone rode bicycles, and seemed in good shape. The hardest thing is communicating with people who don't understand English, because it makes it harder to order exactly what you want.

We then said our goodbyes to Innsbruck and started our journey to Verona, Italy! On the way, someone cut us off and hit our mirror. Our awesome bus driver caught up with the people who hit us, and went out to yell at them for for a couple of minutes. We thought someone would throw punches, but they ended up shaking hands and working it out. It was so dramatic!!! Bear slept the entire three hour, 40 minute bus ride to Verona; very impressive. We stopped two hours into the drive to get snacks and use the toilette. I ordered a latte and got warm milk instead. Apparently in Italy, you must ask for a cafe Americano even though in Germany and Austria you just order a latte. The weather is warm, overcast, and windy.
Once we got to Verona, Italy we got to walk around and see the famous Coliseum. We also got to go to Juliette's balcony, and take photos with her statue that has been known to bring good luck to people for love. Myth or not, we all touched the statue! There were many street vendors, and you could bargain with them pretty easily. Many girls found presents for their families such as jewelry, paintings, and keychains. The whole team met up and had an amazing dinner consisting of lots and lots of pizza. We got back on the bus, and headed to Venice for our hotel.
