Santa Clara, Calif. -- Sonoma State had four Seawolves find the cage in today's nonconference game against Santa Clara.
Annika Erickson led the pack with three goals, while
Amanda Weddle,
Hailey Gellert, and
Jordan Williams each notched one of their own.

Sonoma State is now 5-9 overall, after falling 10-6 to the Broncos of Santa Clara.
Sonoma State tied the game twice in the first quarter as the Broncos scored in the games opening minute for an early 1-0 lead. The Seawolves Weddle tied the game 1-1 at 7:03. Santa Clara was quick to react regaining the lead 2-1 at 6:39. Sonoma State drew two exclusions, as Gellert tied the game 2-2. The Broncos scored the final two goals of the first quarter for a 4-2 score.
Erickson found the back of the net twice in the second for the Seawolves. Though Santa Clara struck first, extending its lead to 5-3 at 6:39 in the second quarter Erickson answered with one of her own at 5:37. The Broncos added to their frame on their next possession (6-3). With just over a minute remaining in the half Erickson brought the halftime score to 6-4.
A slow scoring, strong defensive opening two minutes of the third quarter saw the Seawolves tie the game 6-6, off back-to-back possessions by Erickson and Williams.
The Broncos sealed their win scoring the game's last four goals and holding the Seawolves scoreless in the final quarter.
The Seawolves return to Rohnert Park next Saturday as they host Cal State Monterey Bay at 1:00 p.m.
