Jen Trephan and
Kiana Richardson both earned their fourth selection of their careers to dating back to the 2019 season. Senior
Jaden Krist would join Richardson on the second team and middle blocker
Leilani Hallman would round out the selections with honorable mention status for the first time in her career.
All-CCAA First Team | Sr. Jen Trephan
Setter
Jen Trephan has put together one of the most decorated careers in Sonoma State volleyball history. Trephan does it all for the Seawolves as she ranks in the top three on the team in kills, digs and assists. She eclipsed 2,500 assists for her career earlier this season and currently ranks fourth all-time in program history. Trephan was also a two-time conference player of the week recipient this season, being named Defensive and Setter of the Week earlier this season. Trephan became the program's first All-American since 2017 last season and is on track to earn another selection with a stellar 2023 campaign. She ranks 8th in the CCAA with 564 assists and 2nd in all of Division II with 7 triple-doubles.
All-CCAA Second Team | Sr. Jaden Krist
Outside hitter
Jaden Krist took a big step forward this season after earning Honorable Mention in 2022. Krist leads the tem with 275 kills this season which also ranks in the top-10 of the CCAA. Krist has been nothing but solid for the Seawolves down the stretch of the regular season, recording double digit kills in four of the team's last five games. She recorded a season high 18 kills twice earlier this year in a pair of wins against Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State East Bay. She's also contributed with a career high 40 aces good for second most on the team and 214 digs good for third most on the team.
All-CCAA Second Team | Gr. Kiana Richardson
Fellow senior
Kiana Richardson will also go out with a decorated SSU career, becoming one of the most successful outside hitters in the last decade of the program. Like Trephan, Richardson earned her fourth all-conference selection this season. She ranks second on the team with 214 kills and joined the 1,000 kill club earlier this season. After battling through injury for parts of the season, Richardson has also come on strong towards the end of the regular season having recorded double digit kills in eight of the team's last 9 games. She recorded a season high 15 kills on 42% in a thrilling four set victory over rival Chico State earlier this season.
All-CCAA Honorable Mention | Sr. Leilani Hallman
Middle blocker
Leilani Hallman concluded her SSU career with her first all-conference selection as she had a career year defensively for the Seawolves, ranking as one of the top blockers in the entire CCAA. Hallman was just named the CCAA Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career and ranks second in the conference with 101 blocks. Hallman has now recorded back-to-back seasons with 100+ blocks and also added 163 kills on the year. She had a career game earlier this season against the 9th ranked Yotes of San Bernardino where she finished with 13 kills and 7 blocks to help SSU to an upset win in five sets. Hallman concludes her career with 471 kills and 273 total blocks.
